FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED
Our family moved to Wilmington from the South of France in 2010 with the dream of opening an authentic French Crêperie.
Jacqueline Rey, founder and owner, is the matriarch of the family! She is from the French part of Switzerland and spent many years living between the United States and Europe. After living four years in the South of France, Jacqueline moved to Wilmington, NC, with her family to open OCM! Jacqueline has three children; her oldest continues to live in France with his wife and two children, while her two daughters, Kelly and Justine, work alongside her at the crêperie! Jacqueline can most often be seen in the kitchen behind the crêpe makers, cooking up your favorite meals.
Benjamin and Kelly Gayout, owners. Kelly is Jacqueline’s oldest daughter and is married to Benjamin, who is frequently and lovingly referred to as the “French guy” around OCM. Chances are, if you've been to OCM, Ben's greeted you with a smile and a "Bonjour." Benjamin was born and raised in the south of France and brings a wealth of knowledge to the kitchen. As a photographer, Kelly enjoys more of the creative side of OCM, such as marketing and design. When at OCM, she's usually behind the crêpe makers, spinning your favorite crêpes!
Justine, Manager, was born in Switzerland and pursued her studies at UNCW, graduating with a B.A. in International Studies and a Master's degree in Public Administration. Justine has worked in the nonprofit sector in Washington, D.C, and in Wilmington, NC, before returning to work at the crêperie alongside her family, which she adores!
